Isely
Traditional
Magnet
Elementary School
Dress
Code
The school colors of red, white,
& blue are incorporated with several options for
students and parents. After a great deal of research, we
believe that the choice that we have made is both cost
effective and increases convenience for parents. If you
are concerned about the cost factor, please contact the
principal so that we can discus options. Isely remains a
school for all students and we will ensure that everyone
has access to the uniform.

Wal-Mart all carry many of the items.). The following
items are not included in the uniform policy and are
left to parent discretion: Backpacks, school supplies,
lunch boxes, winter coats, style of belts, shoes, and

distraction in the learning environment to self or
others.)

Extreme hairstyles are to be avoided. Scout uniforms may
be worn on troop/den meeting days.
It is the parents’
responsibility to mark all articles of clothing with the

identify without the child’s name written in an
inconspicuous location. Teachers will not be responsible
for lost articles of clothing that have not been marked
with the child’s name.
The principal may grant
occasional exceptions to the Dress Code for special days
or circumstances. Requests for exceptions should be
submitted to the principal in writing.
